Balancing Act

Created for a group exhibition on the theme of chairs, this is a reflection on the balancing act of life. Objects on the chair seats, including a crown, a duncecap, a house, and a hammer, represent the wild swings between feeling like royalty or an idiot, between family, home and work, and the balancing skill that (hopefully) keeps it all from crashing down.
