- "Precious
Resources - The Land & The Sea," October 6,
2006 to September 2007 at the Hawaii State Art
Museum, Honolulu. John was one of three Kauai
artists included in this exhibition featuring 51
Hawaii artists exploring our connection to earth
and water, and the impact of the natural
surroundings on the identity, daily lives, and
cultures of Hawai'i.
- John served
as president of the Kauai
Society of Artists for the '06/'07 year. The
nonprofit visual arts organization offers
exhibition and educational opportunities for
Kauai's artists, residents, and visitors.
